The AstroGazi Society, which is the academic leader of our faculty member Prof. Dr. Uygar Kanlı and the president of Physics Teacher Education 3rd year student Muhammed Arda Aydın, held the 5th Solar Observation Event, the second event of the 2024-2025 academic year, on November 1, 2024 with the participation of approximately 70 sky enthusiasts consisting of students from the faculties of science, engineering, health sciences, technology, and medicine of our university as well as faculty students and administrative staff. Sunspots were observed with a 20 cm mirror telescope in the area in front of the Bosnia-Herzegovina buildings and the diameters of these spots were measured.
