The physics education undergraduate program provides undergraduate education to students who are placed with the scores obtained from the university placement exams conducted by OSYM. In the program, the courses in the category of field, field education, and professional knowledge are carried out on a semester basis. In the program, besides the compulsory courses, there are also various elective courses suitable for the interests and abilities of the students. Theoretical courses are supported by laboratory applications. Practical courses that include informatics and communication skills for using and producing the necessary teaching technologies for physics teaching have an important place in the program. Our students are prepared for the teaching profession by practicing in secondary education institutions with the self-confidence that these accumulations provide them.

When pre-service teachers complete the program, they graduate as qualified physics teachers. In addition, our graduates who meet certain criteria can continue their graduate education in institutes. Our students who graduate from both undergraduate and graduate programs can work as teachers, researchers, academicians, and experts in public or private institutions.
