The AstroGAZI community, which is the academic advisor of Prof. Dr. Uygar Kanlı, a member of our department, together with the Education without Obstacles Community of Prof. Dr. Banu Altunay, a faculty member of the Department of Special Education, organized the “Equal Day: Astronomy for Peace” event on March 20, 2025, under the leadership of the Office of Astronomy for Education (OAE), headquartered in Italy, together with National Astronomy Education Coordinators (NAEC) and astronomy clubs. In this activity themed “There is a star in the sky for everyone, which one is yours?”, “Barrier-Free Workshops” were organized for individuals with special needs on the lunar surface, comparison of planets, constellations, etc.  In addition to the students of our faculty, sky enthusiasts from different faculties of our university also participated in the event.
